Cross-linked, high-density— compared to ordinary PE tubing, Vanguard PEX has higher temperature resistance and higher burst pressure. Rated at 100 psi at 180° F and 160 psi at 73° F.

Excellent corrosion resistance— offers more resistance to chlorine in continuously recirculation applications.

UV resistance— resists damage from exposure to UV rays up to 60 days.

Eliminates algae growth and mineral buildup— light-blocking properties prevent algae growth and high-density tubing wall inhibits mineral buildup that can restrict flow.

Meets or exceeds international standards— manufactured to ASTM F876/F877 standards and listed to ANSI/NSF Standards 14 and 61. Chlorine-resistance rated for both traditional and continuous recirculation-- P171 CL-R/ CL-TD, PEX 5006 (CL5) applications. Exceeds strict ASTM International standards, in addition to IAPMO (UPC) and International Code Council (ICC) standards for potable water systems.
